Avinet is an Australian aviation software company that was established in 2005 to provide aviation companies with robust business tools to assist with their day to day management, safety and compliance requirements.

Air Maestro^® is the core application provided by Avinet and has been developed in conjunction with our valuable development and aviation industry partners. Air Maestro^® is now recognised as a leader in the provision of safety, compliance and management software to the aviation industry. The application has been designed to be scalable for small, single site operators to large multi-site commercial operators.

Air Maestro^® development commenced in 2003, when a web-based portal was developed for an aviation company in Adelaide. Once the portal was placed in production, other operators were keen to adopt the technology for their operations and Avinet was created with the assistance of an AusIndustry Commercial Ready grant and contribution of its business partners.

InterDynamics and Avinet partnered to deliver FAID^® fatigue risk assessment online through Air Maestro^®. This included integration of the FAID^® algorithm with the timesheet and rostering modules as well as simplified graphs and reporting.

In addition to the Air Maestro^® application Avinet provides custom software development for the aviation industry and is able to assist aviation businesses with customised projects. Avinet has an in-house development team which provides consulting, design and software engineering services. The development team specialises in building powerful web applications and is proficient in many commercial and open source programming languages, including the ASP.NET framework, ASP and PHP.
