Welcome to the first of what will be a continuing series of quarterly newsletters from Avinet – Australia’s premier aviation software company. Our aim is to keep you up-to-date on the latest developments to the Air Maestro® system and give you special insight into the company that is revolutionising Safety, Efficiency and Compliance based aviation software.
Air Maestro® continues to be proudly developed in Australia and the past three years have seen a number of significant enhancements and updates. We’re pleased to announce that we have achieved consistent growth within our customer base over the last 12 months, due to the superior features of Air Maestro® including the easy-to-use interface and rich functionality.
With a number of organisations around the country evaluating Air Maestro®, we are commited to further enhancing and building upon the existing features to deliver efficiency and safety benefits to aviation operators nationally. |

| Recent Enhancements |
• Enhancements to the Rostering Module, including
the ability to version rosters and notify personnel of
roster changes via sms and email.
• Increased flexibility in the Timesheet Module, with the ability to customise
fields for each department within your organisation.
• Simplification of the Safety Reporting Module, with the introduction of
optional screens during the event reporting phase.
• Continual enhancements to the Work Practice
Controls, including the addition of new controls to
track split duty extensions and standby hours.
• Extension of the Recency Module with added
options in setting up recency items. |

| Upcoming Modules |
Flight Records
• We are currently working on a new Flight
Records module which will streamline
the data entry and reporting of flight information.
Single sourced data entry, will eliminate errors
and save your organisation valuable time.
Audit Module
• Our Audit module due for final release this month, allows your organisation
to proactively manage the audit process. Customisable and flexible, it allows
you to create audit checklists, types and schedules applicable to your
organisation. Report templates can be customised and used
to export completed Audits.

FAID® fatigue risk assessment software
is a tool developed by InterDynamics
Pty Ltd and used to assess the risk
associated with hours of work. It is based on the roster fatigue assessment
formulae developed and validated by Dr Adam Fletcher and Professor Drew
Dawson at the Centre for Sleep Research, University of South Australia.
Air Maestro® has been designed to automatically calculate FAID® scores
based on the work practice the pilot is operating on and shows the results in
real time. |
