Upcoming Enhancements

Release 2.9 - Scheduling / Tasking is our next highly anticipated major development project. We've used a Beta version to spark your ideas on what needs to be in a scheduling module the next step is to complete the development of this significant enhancement to Air Maestro. Development has already started on this major enhancement and we have been collaborating with various customers to ensure we will support the needs of their diverse operations.

Release 2.8 - Released September/October 2011

Release 2.8 was deployed to customers in September and October 2011.

As part of this smaller update, customers can expect calculated custom fields in the Flight Records and Safety Forms, instant Work Practice alerts, Recency rules to support ‘or’ situations, additional Global Reporting options and a number of other small enhancements.

We are now working on Release 2.9 which is our scheduling/tasking release with internal testing to commence later in 2011.

Release 2.7 - Released April/May 2011

Air Maestro's Safety Module was overhauled in Release 2.7 to provide custom report types with custom fields. These changes flow into the investigation processes which now promote greater links between the Audit and Hazard modules. Release 2.7 features include customisable safety reports, investigation changes and tasking enhancements:

Customisable Safety Reports means the user can now create new report types in addition to, or in replacement of, existing report types of flight, ground, quality, clinical and defect. Each report type consists of a series of steps allowing the user to create those fields requiring tracking (and includes setting certain steps or fields as required or optional). These changes mean it is now possible to change report types, for example when a flight occurrence is really a ground occurrence.

Safety Reports Investigations have been streamlined to remove blocking items and make more activities within the occurrence investigation optional. Forums and summaries are now optional items and the investigator can by-pass these steps if required. The look and feel of the investigation page has been updated for investigators to use a menu to list out activities and clearly identify the next suggested step in the process.

Logbook Tasking has been extended so that the system can be setup to display the most common tasks in the place of NVG, Flir, and Winch. Additional tasks can be identified using the existing drop down list.
